Required MANAGING DIRECTOR @ Safco Support Foundation

SAFCO Support Foundation is a company registered under Section - 42 of The Companies Ordinance, 1984 that provides micro-lending services to low-income people of Sindh Province of Pakistan. 

We have required the services of following position as mentioned below;
 

1.Position Title:Managing Director Gender:Male/Female 
2.Sector: Microfinance 3.Position Status: Full Time 
4.Reporting Relationship: CEO/President 5. Supervises:Middle Management Team 
6. Job Summary:
The Managing Director (MD) manages and develops institutional capabilities to provide superior financial services to poor clients based on commercial market-driven principles. Reporting to the President, the MD leads and motivates a professional team to achieve poverty alleviation mission and corporate goalsof organization.
7. Main Responsibilities:
o Provide strategic leadership in the implementation of Safco Support Foundation (SSF) Strategic Plan
o Manage client expansion program and keep loan portfolio healthy
o Research and design new client-responsive financial products and related
services
o Prepare and update annual budgets, financial projections, operational and
financial plans
o Ensure efficient staff management, including hiring, motivating and
building staff capacity
o Ensure that all internal and external reports are prepared within defined
timeframes and requirements
o Perform local and international fund raising activities (e.g. proposal writing,
coordinate fund raising events)
o Maintain and enhance relationships with key stakeholders (e.g. Clients,
Donors, Banks, Governments, Governing Boards, Lenders…etc.)
o Ensure the implementation and regular update of organizational policies and
procedures
o Represent and promote SSF locally and internationally 
8. Position Specifications: (Skills/Qualifications/Experience)
o Microfinance, Banking/Finance or insurance management background
o Strong interpersonal, management and leadership skills 
o Sound understanding of financial management and accounting principles
o Demonstrated ability to build cohesive teams and to achieve goals through
teamwork
o Demonstrated report- and proposal- writing experience
o University education; preferably in relevant fields (business and administration, international relations and development)
o Knowledge of microfinance industry and best practices is preferred
o Excellent computer skills in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
o Fluency in spoken and written English, other languagesskills are an asset.
