Expression of interest for Training on"PESTS AND PEST MANAGEMENT

PDI
jointly with Oxfam Novib initiated a project Titled 'Tomato Value Chain and
Capacity Building Project' in Thatta (Mirpur Sakro) District of Sindh. The
project was started in 2012, intended to enhance the skills and capacities of
the targeted communities. The project contributed in the increased
incomes of basic growers, specifically, female farmers. First phase has been
proved as an instrumental addition to the overall development of growers. The
second phase of the project in 2013 has been designed specifically around the
tomato. 

Providing Training on "PESTS
AND PEST MANAGEMENT OF TOMATO CROPS" to the beneficiaries FOs/Producer
Organizations/Cooperative Societies is one of the key activities of the project
second phase. PDI intends to engage an expert/Trainer/facilitator in the
relevant field to conduct the Training and also prepare the Training report. The
activity is scheduled to be held on 28th NOVEMBER 2013. 

PDI is soliciting expression of
interest from independent experts/Trainers/facilitators. Those interested to
apply can send their expressions of interest, as well as a brief note on
tentative training contents/schedule including Training fees, copy of manual
along with their fresh CVs no later on, 19th NOVEMBER 2013 on the following
