Aga Khan University invites applications for the position of Housekeeper to provide support to the Institute for Educational Development campus in Karimabad, Karachi
Responsibilities
The appointee will be responsible to:
dust all horizontal surfaces that collects dust on a daily basisempty and clean wastebaskets and other trash related material clean bathrooms including metal and porcelain fixtureswipe all furniture using damp clothsdry and wet mob floors, both indoor and outdoor (floor dusting/sanitizing)vacuum carpets and clean walls, windows and other spots on same dayinform supervisor if any wear and tear is found in the assigned area, in-order to get it repaired through relevant department(s)attend emergency cleaning complaints as and when requiredshift furniture and other equipment, when needed.
Requirements
Applicants must possess:
preferably a Matriculate qualificationat least one year of experience of housekeeping servicesability to communicate in Urdu (both oral and written) and understand basic English ability to work with minimum supervision.
