 Rural Indigenous Communities Association (RICA)is non-governmental organization which
is working for mobilizing community for participatory development and promotes
health, education and culture with empowering people with building up their
capacities.
(RICA), Badin is registered under social
welfare voluntary organization Act: 1961 with directorate of social welfare/ community
development department Govt. of Sindh in year 2010. It has strength of 35
energetic members comprising on both male and female of district Badin.
The (RICA) is focused to the betterment of the indigenous
communities of the District and it has been working, since its inception, on
different sectors of social development focusing on Education, Health and
culture and for the betterment of the poor and needy indigenous Rebari
communities of the area through their active participation.
The main objective of the establishment of organization is to mobilize
indigenous REBARI communities for sustainable development and improve the
living standard socially and economically through strengthening participatory
development with special focus on women economic and social empowerment. 
This organization is based on non-profit, non-sectarian and works
with all the poor without any discrimination of caste and creed, Gender and
area biases.
 
 
Position:                                Project Manager

Job Descriptions:
* Planning, management, and implementation of project in Badin. 
* Recruitment, orientation and management of team.
* Staff coaching, development and team building.
* Strengthen systems and mechanisms to run program.
* Communication and liaison with all UNDP-GEF-SGP partners.
* M&E and regular reviews of projects.
* Support team in designing, conducting & data analysis of Needs Assessments and Baseline Surveys of projects.
* Financial management of projects.
* Timely reporting of projects to donors.
* Visibility of UNDP-GEF-SGP project.
* Assist upper management in proposal development, fundraising, and networking.
* Support leadership in strengthening the desired organization culture. 
* Promote integration and collaboration with other organization aims & objectives.
* Ensure UNDP-GEF-SGP standard guidelines and policies, including security protocols. 
* Mainstreaming of Q & A and Local Capacities for Peace.
* Assist upper management in regular review of projects, team performance, tools & systems.
* Develop & maintain good rapport’ with other implementing partners
* Support other implementing partners in their capacity building.
* Represent organization at national/international level.
 
 
 
Job Specifications:
 
* Practical experience of 2-3 years in relevant field is mandatory preference will be given to the individual having NGO System experience Self motivated, requiring minimum supervision
* Masters / Bachelors in Social Sciences, Business Studies, Economical Studies, Political Science, International Relations from HEC or Any Authorized University or Institute
* Computer Skills, MS-Office
* Good English is Essential  
* The Program Manager must be tolerant and sensitive to needs of religious and ethnic minorities, women and the poor.
* Program Manager must have the confidence, initiative, patience and integrity to work independently.
Position:                                Accounts Officer
Location:                               Badin

Job Descriptions:
1.      Preparation and updating of
monthly project budget sheets;
2.      Handling of office petty
cash;
3.      Preparation of petty cash
payments and posting;
4.      Submission of weekly
withholding income tax statement of supplier and contractors;
5.      Submission of monthly
withholding tax statement of income tax on salaries and  withholding sales tax;
6.      Assist accounts manager in
project reporting
7.      Follow up with banks for
account balance update, bank statements, accounts opening and other matters.
8.      Proper filling and tagging
of accounts documents;
9.      Updating of Budget Variance
Sheet and incorporating the adjustments as suggested by the management.
10.  Checking and verification of
project expenses received from site offices.
11.  Posting of project expenses;
12.  Assist accounts manager and
accounts officer in bank account opening;
13.  Assist in audits,
assessments and spot checks conducted by donors and external auditors;
14.  Any Other Task given by  Managers
 
Job Specifications:
 
* Practical experience of 2-3 years in relevant field is mandatory preference will be given to the individual having NGO System experience Self motivated, requiring minimum supervision
* Masters / Bachelors / Certification in Commerce & Business Studies from HEC or Any Authorized University or Institute
* Good English is Essential
* Computer Skills, Ms-Office

Position:                                Office Boy
Location:                               Badin

Duration                                1 Year (extendable)
 
Job Descriptions:
1.     Will be
responsible to arrive before office timings and ensure that the office is
cleaned up and all office equipment maintained before the arrival of the staff.
2.     Will
serve tea / refreshments to guests.
3.     Will be
responsible for receiving / delivering mail.
4.     Will
maintain the indoor plants kept in the office corridors.
5.     Will
ensure that all electrical equipment is switched off and the office is locked
properly at closing time.
6.     Any other
duty assigned to him by the Admin & Finance Associate.
 
Job Specifications:
 
* Practical experience of 2-3 years in relevant field is mandatory preference will be given to the individual having NGO  System experience
* Must be Primary Pass
* Good Sindhi / Urdu is Essential
* Ability to produce a positive and effective environment
