*Position :* Hadoop Developer
*Responsibilities:*
Writing MapReduce jobs in Java, Pig and Python.
Installing, configuring, and administrating Hadoop cluster of major Hadoop
distributions.
• Installing, configuring and using ecosystem components like
HadoopMapReduce, HDFS, Hbase.
• Working with Java, C++ and C, C# or PHP
• Build systems, libraries, and frameworks within, around, and on top of
Hadoop
• Creating web-based applications using ActiveXControls, JSP, Servlets
• Creating web pages using HTML, DHTML, Java Script, VB Script and CSS
• Applying XML technologies likeXPathand XSLT to real world projects
• Productionalizing Hadoop applications (such as administration,
configuration, Management,
• Importing and exporting data into HDFS and Hive
• running Hadoop streaming jobs to process terabytes of xml format
• Map Reduce Programs those are running on the cluster ring, debugging,
and performance tuning)
• Work with Multi Clustered environment and setting up Cloudera Hadoop
echo-System.
• Design and develop solutions using Hadoop to tackle big data,
information retrieval, and analytics problems.
• Manage creation, scheduling, and monitoring of ETL and other data
processes.
• Proven experience with projects in the Hadoop ecosystem, such as Hive,
Pig, Hbase Required
• Understanding of Linux system internals, file systems, and
administration required
• Interest in and willingness to work with machine learning, Mahout, R
Required
• Work in a team-oriented environment
*Desired Qualifications*
• BS or MS in Computer Science or equivalent work experience
• At least two years’ experience in Hadoop Environment i.e. Development,
management and configuration.
• Previous success in a performance-critical environment
• Experience with large-scale Hadoop clusters is a big plus
• Working experience in Linux environment
